Occupation Health and Safety

In the interest of all workers, every workplace follows health and safety practices. It is the duty of ever to provide its workers a safe and hazard-free environment. This is called Duty of care. Each state in Australia has a legal governing body that regulates health and safety procedures in every workplace, big or small. In NSW it is WorkCover Authority of NSW. All NSW legislation can be viewed free online: Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001or you call 13 10 50 for more information about this regulation. These regulations include all the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees.
